Botany painting
Botany painting is a new form of Japanese art where real lotus leaves or bodhi tree leaves are affixed to a panel and then colored.
An accredited botanical painting instructor will provide thorough and easily understandable guidance.

Botany painting: a zen experience
A traditional Japanese art with lotus and linden leafs, to glue them on a wooden plate or tray gently and colour them.
The whole workshop is unique, the leaves come from Japan and are specially prepared for the art and to colour.
Since the leaves are very fragile they need to be handled carefully, as you need to pick the right colours you will focus on only that which brings you to some kind of mediative state of mind.
The daily life troubles fade as you are creating your unique artwork.
Naoko sensei (*teacher) leads you step by step to compose the leafs and match the colours while enjoying a cup of Japanese tea.
At the end you have an original piece of art to brighten up your wall and/or mood.

You can also request for a workshop as a gift for a friend or family member, or to use the workshop to celebrate special occasions.
